Use YOUR MOUSE to click on the equipment icons to buy and upgrade your armor and weapons. Keep in mind that you need enough resources. Then click the gear and let your soldier to pick it up. If you upgrade your gear, you can spawn it more often. Weapons also get stronger with further upgrades.
