Moving the mouse left and right positions your player on screen. When you see a puck released, click and hold the mouse button to increase your shot power, then release the mouse to shoot. Hitting the defenders high or low will bring them down to the ice, where you can now hit them where it hurts. Gain extra time bonuses after every 500 points scored.
